About the Author

I grew up in the Boston area and graduated from West Point in 2009. I served as an army artillery officer and afterwards earned a PhD in history from Indiana University, Bloomington. Since then, I have written on asymmetric warfare, in which each side brings different means and meanings to the conflict.
